Classes and Workshops

Most classes are 4 hours unless otherwise noted. Every class will go over safety info and refresh on the basics. There will be demonstrations of techniques specific to the class and lab time to execute those techniques. Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring beverages and snacks if you’d like. All materials are provided unless otherwise stated on the individual class info page. The lot for Fogue Studios is shared by several businesses so for Saturday classes please find street or pay parking.

About Your Instructor

Colleen has over 10 years of teaching experience. 

Colleen is an encaustic/mixed media, collage and assemblage artist, incorporating vintage and antique documents and found objects/materials. Her painting and assemblage art has been published in art books and she has shown throughout the Northwest. In 2018, Colleen was accepted into a 2 week artist residency at Chateau d’Orquevaux in France. She resides in Seattle with her partner, Larry and their dog, Tater.
