Advanced Encaustic, One on One

Encaustic painting works well for abstract artists, as the wax, tools and heat offer numerous ways to manipulate your image. This 4 hour class will cover the basics of encaustic painting: safety, tools and paint, as we delve into the world of abstraction! Previous basic encaustic class not necessary but suggested. Students will be supplied with practice boards and 2 10×10 cradled boards. Additional boards available for purchase.
